A tapeworm is a parasite that lives in the small intestine of the host in which it lives. This is an insidious parasite that tends to kill its host with sufficient exposure and untreated time and can also cause severe weakness and malnourishment. A tapeworm absorbs all the nutrients that are present in the food an organism eats and leaves nothing for the host organism. This results in the ultimate weakness and possibly the death of an organism.
